Lawyers Escrow & Trust collects certain personal information in providing our Escrow Agent, Business Transaction, and Small Business Lender services. We only collect the personal information necessary to provide our services and always maintain confidentiality of these personal records. The following items include certain types of information we may obtain:
• Personal client information to open an escrow account, close a business transaction, or handle a loan closing, (i.e., legal name, home address, telephone number, email address, social security number, marital status, and tax identification number)
• Bank account information to wire escrow funds, seller proceeds from a business transaction, or loan proceeds to a borrower, (i.e., bank name, bank account name, bank account number, and bank ABA routing and transit number)        

Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not disclose nor sell your personal information to third parties for the purpose of marketing services or products.  We will only communicate your personal information to a third party in one of the following conditions:
• It is required by law to disclose your personal information to an authority
• You give us prior written consent to disclose your personal information to a certain third party
• A third party affiliate who performs services on our behalf that requires certain information to complete a service for you

We do require that any third party affiliate who performs services on our behalf adopt similar privacy standards and procedures in regards to our client’s personal information.

After you close an escrow account, transfer ownership of a business, or complete a loan closing, your personal information and privacy will still remain confidential and adhere to the policies and procedures described above.
